Well my original thread was lost and not really in the correct section So I'll repost here in the right place.

This is the body and original frame I bought.

http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=2076433&id=1203018944&l=a57e0070d5

I bought this off a good friend about a year ago and finally got off my butt to work on it. It's for my daughter eventually. It was originally a one wheel drive but the frame was kind of crap and not up to what I wanted it to be. So my friend and I decided to build a new frame from scratch for the body. I have a 6.5 clone for it and plan to do some modifications to it as time and $ permit but for now its quick enough. We even used a Mustang II e-brake handle to make a parking brake for the car.

The body is a Mustang II Cobra II body and it will eventually be painted to match my car.

That hasnt got much to do with anything? A monaro would leave an escort cossie round a track?

Plus, it doesn't look anywhere near as cool as a properly sorted mustang lol!

Nice project btw keep us updated

To answer your extremely off topic questions:
1) Gas is between $3.00-$3.25 in my area.
2) Many people would LOVE to have a Cobra that nice over here
3) Smoked! (It will start to automatically download...and that's a OLD Cobra)
4) That thing is very nice and you have no idea what's under the hood. It may run circles around your Cosworth Escort.

? on your muffler ,did you make a inner closed off pipe with lots of holes in it ? what about any packing on the inside of it ? stillseems a little bit loud to me for the actual size if it ,am asking cause I will need to make 2 mufflers myself for my project .

The head pipe has the end inside capped off. and a bunch of holes drilled in it. Also the ends of the two small pipes are drilled with a few holes as well. No packing at all inside of it probably if you added another kind of baffle inside it would help a bit. It's not as load as you think, and it has a much deeper tone than the stock muffler had.
