with a clutch you arnt going to get much tourque right??????????

because my go kart cant climb very steep hils not the tires spinning but not enough torque???/ would this change with a touqe converter???? like more tourque i am guessing and being able to climb hills

a tc will improve your low end and your high end depending on gearing. a cen't clutch can be either slow and torque-e, fast but takes forever to get to top speed, or somewhere in the middle. another option is a quad/bike engine w/ gear box which will be superior to both setups.

all i am saying is when i go to a somewhat steep hill stop at the bottom and then try to go up it..... i will have the gas all the way down and it cant climb it??? so i dident now if this means that the clutch is bad or if the engine is bad or what its a 6.5 clone??? i dident now if this is usal with a centrifical clutch

a cent clutch on a stock 6.5 clone isnt the best setup.

if you want more power the first thing i'd do would be exhaust and intake mods to get more from the engine, then get a TC if you want a further better setup.

with TC you would be able to climb those small hills much better.

I would say the answer to your question is yes.

Before you go tossing your clutch in the landfill, you might want to examine your gear ratio. While a CVT will make better use of your engine's power band, gearing down may be all you need here.
Give us some more info. Need to know your rear tire diameter, tooth count on the clutch, tooth count on the axle sprocket, and jackshaft info if you have one. Couldn't hurt to know the approximate weight of your kart, too

i have 14 inch tires with a 72 tooth speocket and a 12 tooth clutch

well i am probly not going to get a torque convereter i just wanted to make sure that there wasnt something wrong with the engine or clutch and that this is usall... i am fine with the tourque i just wanted to make sure.... that this amount of tourque was okay.

If you don't mind losing a little top end, you could gear it down a bit and gain some grunt. It would likely require a jackshaft be installed but would still come out cheaper than a CVT.
