Hello what would be the best clutch under $70 for a predator 212. The motor has governor removed air gas jet and muffler upgrade. I would like a 12 tooth clutch for a 72 and or 60 tooth axle sprocket. Thanks for any help or advice. mike

This is for a new build and a new motor. I'm not if that matters though.

maxtorque SS is cheap and reliable (if geared correctly)

wheelsize and weight are essential for gearing.. so you might want to take that into consideration as well before making your final call!

They're pretty good.
Hillard are also a good verity, You can find spring kits/weights and sprockets to better tune for certain rpm desirability and performance on these ones.

Thanks I see a lot of these also. Its good to have a couple to pick from at a good price. And maybe I can learn how to fine tune clutches too.

What's the advantage of the clutch vs torque converter. You can get eBay tc for $70, mounts to predator perfectly.

Are you kidding?

I was gonna ask "where have you been?" I realize now that you've been in orbit on the ISS. Sorry. :p

Still, you should know the advantages/disadvantages of the TAV by now, man.

I'm guessing the only maintenance and or upgrades with a TC might be the belt and sprocket. Not sure though I haven't looked into them much.

For the difference of 9 bucks.
Definitely worth looking into.
You will be much happier with the performance.
