Wow, that's some beautiful countryside!

With all those hills you might wanna be conservative and calculate your gear ratio for around a 20mph to maybe 25mph top speed @ 3600rpm.

I dont know if Noram clutches are even available in Ireland, but you'll probably find most GX390 engines/matching-clutches purchased in Europe will be 25mm. instead of 1-inch like the equivalents over here in the states.

Yeah, nice man!

I prefer centrifugal clutches for my racekarts and all but I just ride on flat/hard ground. You really should seriously consider installing a torque converter system on your kart. You'd end up with way better hill climbing ability plus much higher top speeds where you'll be riding...

You should buy this one on the UK ebay:--> http://www.diygokarts.com/vb/showthread.php?t=11495
We'll help you get it all installed man, you can do it

That Chez guy that's selling it is a totally honest guy and always goes out of his way to help everyone out here on DIY.

Those genuine Comet 40-series T/C's are not currently being manufactured and they're very difficult to find nowadays. (even over here in the states) Once their correctly installed they last for a REALLY long time and dont cause any problems like all the smaller 30-series T/C's you read about here. That ones also in the UK, so shipping will be reasonable and you'll never have a better opportunity than right now to get one for yourself!
