Hello all,

Does anyone know if I can get different weights, cams, and springs for my gtc commet 30 clutch?

I have a 2 seat side-by-side go kart with a GX200 that has been beefed up a bit, but the current clutch setup won't let it rev and it loads the engine really hard which eventually took out a set of rings.

Now that I'm getting the piston and rings replaced I really want lighter weights in the primary, a stiffer spring in the secondary, and perhaps a shallower cam so that it shifts out slower.

I looked around and it doesn't look like I can get these parts without making them.

Thanks,
schu

You can get new springs, but I would make sure that you haven't beefed your engine up more than the 8HP those TC's are able to handle. Do NOT believe the rubbish posted by GTC about them handling 13HP. They are a copy of Comets 30 series that can only handle 8HP, and GTC's quality is not as good as Comets.

The main clutch i465 black bolts directly to the crankshaft of the engine. Whenever the engine is running, the main clutch i465 black is spinning. The secondary clutch i465 black connects to the jackshaft of the snow vehicles. It only rotates when the main clutch i465 black begins to shift out and grabs the belt.
