I bought a kart that has a clutch on a Predator engine. The clutch is always engaged as soon as the engine is started therefore it loads up and dies just as fast. Are these max torque clutches any good and are they adjustable? I do not see any way to adjust the clutch but may be missing something.

First is kinda sounds like your Idle screw is in far causing high idle... Jack the rear end up off the ground on jack stands or the like... Make sure it wont fall off and take off on you. Back it out a turn or 2... check to see if it will keep engaging....

Those clutches are pretty good for what they're used for.....With that being said... what is the vehicle for which is being used on??? Pics??
They can be adjusted by useing different springs for the engagment rpm....

Also what is the Gear ratio, tire size OD, mods to engine ect??? as these take a good factor...
Do you have a tach??

BEFORE doing what he said make sure it rolls freely on the ground without any binding. If it’s making noises or not rolling easily then the clutch is fried.

Other than that mckutzy is what I would say also.
