hello everyone, im new to this forum and go karts. Im currently rebuilding my old kart. Ill post pics later.

i need to know what the best clutch would be for me.

i have a Honda gx140 absolutely stock, 60 teeth on the axle sprocket.

i have noticed that most clutches engage at around 2000rpm, does that mean that theres no contact AT ALL between Idle-2000? then should i get different springs to engage at 1000rpm?

dw about new springs, it engages good. Get a max torque 3/4", There cheap ( about 30 bucks ) and pretty good. You can also get a comet clutch but there pretty expensive but good. Depends what ur doing with it. Are u going offroad? If u are then a max torque probably wont hold up to well, if u aren't then max torque will be good. For offroading i suggest a comet.

You want the clutch to engage when your motor is making power, not power or torque at 1000 rpm.
