This is my clutch i bought it off ebay and it arrived only today

I took the engine off the go kart and run the engine with the clutch on it and it it moved very fast with the engine in idle
This engine is a 6.5hp honda clone
I want to know what the problem is with the clutch or is there a way to reduce the rpms when the engine is in idle thanks

Without tension on the clutch (the chain hooked up) it will freely spin. Put the engine on and hook up the chain, it shouldn't move.

Well it's normall out of the box for these clones to idle a bit too high. So far every clone I've seen ecced's the stall speed on stock clutch's. May have to ajust the idle a bit.

2 post's below this one are intructions on how to lower idle. But I think I can get the point across. On the back of the carburater there is a large philips screw. Turn the screw out to decrese idle and turn the screw in the increase idle.
