Well, asking that means it's most likely seized..
So first try some penetrating oil
if you don't have a puller and don't want to buy one.
PB blaster is the prefered brand according to other forum members,
I can tell that WD40 falls short in more than one occasion.
So, get a good one ;)
And let it soak for a while.

If that fails (after the third attempt)
add heat.. a heat gun is what I would use, others tend to use torches (but be careful with those)
And heat the hub, NOT the crankshaft.

Then a good tap with a mallet and it should come off
(don't whack it with a BFH.. certain but polite)

Well, you have more options than ^..... Use a pickle fork. (Tie rod/ball joint fork)I use one with great success, along with penetrating oil. You can also use a die grinder to cut a groove across the hub, NOT THROUGH IT. Do it in 2 spots, then use a chisel or punch to "peel" it off.... And as Sid said, DO NOT HEAT THE CRANK! I dont advise using heat period. MAYBE ,MAYBE as a LAST resort....

I say use heat and a puller, but then I know what kinda amount to use and how.
The best inexperienced way, is what Jim above described, cut it carefully off.

A gear puller is the easiest option, and you can probably rent one from somewhere.

Looking at your pic....are those the sprocket teeth that are so mangled?

... and if it STILL dont come off... someone is gonna have to getta cutting wheel n cut it off... but usually PB/puller/patience works just fine...

:wai: That shaft looks like it is galled big time. The 1st thing I would do is clean up the shaft in front of the hub, then use a cutoff tool to split the hub going the same direction as the shaft, starting at the threaded hole. Once split should come of fairly easy. Then clean up the rest of the shaft. Before installing new clutch smear a thin coat of never-sezie on the shaft.

Try PBlaster, it's pretty good stuff. What kind of puller? Generally the hooks of a gear puller go behind the gear/hub/sprocket that you are trying to remove, and the screw goes against the crankshaft.

okay, just in case...
there should be a second set screw 90° to the thread in the picture..
so make sure both are removed.
