I have a Hilliard Extreme-Duty Centrifugal Clutch — 3/4in. Bore, 10 Tooth, 40-41 Chain Size

BUt I have a 3.5 briggs motor and have a #50 chain. it falls off sometimes... is the chain to big?

Yea you have to make sure that your clutch, chain, and the sprocket on the axle have the same size. Get rid off the #50 chain. Buy a #40 or #41 chain from tractor supply or Northerntools .com
