I'm sorry but taxing business, IMHO, makes them cut back on workers, which causes job loss, which cuts back on production, which brings prices up, which are not un-affordable because more are out of work relying on gov't support. So the gov't increases taxes to support more. All in all, I see taxing business more as the start of the snowball effect.

woahhh i didnt mean to start a political conversation. any suggestions on a clutch for my go cart. it has a high rpm golf cart engine and it takes a while to fully engage on the heavy duty clutch i have

yeah well at the time we built it we didnt look at using the stock belt clutches the engine goes with. but now theres barely and room for the driven clutch and the jack shaft becasue of the exhaust and starter.
Would you be able to rig up a TC mounting plate jack shaft? Where the driven is keyed onto a shaft with a small sprocket and all mounted to the back plate. Like the TAV2. Parts 20-28

idk im used to dealing with the clutches on golf carts. but the output shaft on the engine is a 1". have no experience with these smaller tc's. and i dont have the money for an almost $200 tc
Look on CL. I found an older CAT99 or 30 Series, I'm still unsure but leaning to CAT99, for $40. It needs a belt and maybe $20 worth of parts. If you can get a golf cart engine, you could really haul @$$ on a go kart. Or get a bigger motor with 1" shaft and use a golf cart clutch IF 1" shaft is the only real requirement, I have no knowledge of golf carts.

Bill Clinton opened up the markets to china in ways never seen before or since. As to us being in debt to china, that's just a capitalism issue. They are the ones that bought the debt on the open market.
More importantly, I have a rolling chassis with one half of a comet 20 TC on it. I am buying a Northern Powersource or a HF clone. What do I need to do to complete the drive train. Replace the TC with a chain? Are there other TC's? Can I buy a new comet driver side only? How do I check the driven side for its condition?
