Clutch backwards

I currently have this problem where the clutch is not lined up with a sprocket that is welded to the axle. Is it fine to put the clutch backwards (sprocket side on the inside closest to the engine)?

Almost all clutches can run backwards.

Hillard, and max torque can that i know of.

Known as inboard/outboard, bi-directional, or straight through.
