Clutch and Tire question

Yeah they about 16" tall. This is the first time ive driven a live axle go kart and I have a question. Its kinda hard to turn from a dead stop would wider tires in the front help this or is this something ill just have to sacrifice since I have a live axle now?

Deal with it, or get a powerplant hot enough to light up the rear tires.

I would drop to a 10 tooth clutch and put the big tires back on,
