Took measurements. The rear 72T sprocket is 3/8" between teeth and the 10T clutch sprocket is 1/2" between teeth. I measured my other kart that has a 54T rear sprocket and the clutch is 10T with both being 1/2". I have #35 chain for both setups.

The 72t sprocket is #35, everything else is #41

I have #35 chain for both setups.

Not if it's 1/2", that means it's #41

The simple fact is you can't buy a 10t #35 clutch; it's physically impossible to have 10 #35 teeth reach around a 3/4" clutch

This was my order from bmikarts.

Item ID ITEMS PRICE QTY TOTAL
400237 Sprocket #35 72T (2-13/16' Bolt Circle) $22.95 1 $22.95

And my second order.
Item ID ITEMS PRICE QTY TOTAL
400641 Chain - Purchase by the Foot
Pitch: #41 (400641) $2.00 3 $6.00
401641 Master Link
Pitch: #41 (401641) $0.60 2 $1.20
400501 Toggle Kill Switch

So I was completely wrong about my chain! Now, can I order a 72T sprocket to fit the #41 chain or should I get a 54T sprocket. Thanks again for your help.

You may want to get something inbetween; 54t may be a bit steep & 72t (if you can find one) will give you lots of acceleration but a low top speed. It also depends on the tyre size...
