I doubt anymore top speed besides the governor removel (8mph more?), thats all gearing, this should all help your torque.

Like if I remove the governor will I need to replace any other parts in engine or will they brake when I start floating the valves?? An I'm also getting a tiny tach meter to watch the rpms what rpms should I run the engine at so it doesn't fly apart??

if you have fears of the engine flying apart, you can replace the rod for a billet one. Agk sell them. Do you plan on changing the flywheel?

by adding the kit, you will get to speed faster. you may see an increase in top speed.

you will only see an increase in top speed if you pull the governor, SPEED is RPM x GEARING

so parts will do nothing but get you to the same top speed faster. You have to turn more RPM's or change the gearing for more top speed.

I really wish i had a welder just for the purpose of making mounts for an engine like that

Clone's are great engines to learn basic principals on. You'll have lots of fun removing the governor and upgrading parts.

Have you thought of adding a two speed jackshaft or a TAV?

I think that the John Deere Gators and Kawasaki Mules have the comet type converters on them. Has anyone tried one of those systems on their karts? Not sure how easy they are to get a hold of.
