Clone governor?

If I remove my governor from my 6.5 hp clone, is it necessary to re-jet the carb? Or can i still use the stock jet.

Unless you want more fuel coming into your engine, theres no need.

Most guys usually replace the stock air cleaner/muffler with race models at the same time as removing the Governor, and then take a plug reading to see if re-jetting is needed. (it usualy is)
