I've called up some engine guys for parts. they've told me this stop wasting money and time with the gx160 and buy 6.5 hp clone. this true? does extra 30cc make that big a diference?
i take it just that much better plus i could probs switch over the head from the gx160 to get a crap load of compression. i have decent power with my gx160 now i just little more torque and i'm happy. should i stick with it?????????
Alot of people are telling me the 160 does great until it reaches the 7000ish RPM area, then the power just falls flat... I'm guessing the torque and all that.
gx200 clone for price, genuine honda for quality(although not much better.) if you are modding it most parts will be replaced anyway, so clones would be fine.

i can achieve 70km/h on a straight way with the 18lb springs, i just be able to hit 80km/h or past. with governor removed and 18 lb i figured i be reving at 5500-6000 just a little more. this go kart is for off raod and on road and it's home built to i'm not limited by any rules. basically i was gunna invest another 200 bucks of mods into the engine just wanna see if i should move to the bigger engine before i do these mods. don't have much money so i want to know for sure. i'm interested in best comprimise for high torque beacuse i off raod allot and high top end beacuse i drag it. so ya
