Predator 670 only weighs about 90 lbs. it has an aluminum block. That hunk of beef on that generator has a cast iron block.

How is that monster fed. What's the intake? Fuel injected?
That could be an interesting build if done right. Not sure if the power to weight would be enough. It's made to just idle all day. And I bet parts could be hard to find.

I saw a few C&C episodes. Liked their shifter/ suspention cart. Then noticed the sponsorship and decline. But I've noticed that with alot of channels I've grown to like.

The HP rating is for high elevation, think like 6,000 or more feet. But yeah, better intake and carburetor it wakes right up. It's like an upside down VW 1200-1600 engine as the push rods are on top and not the bottom.

Never used one or even been around one. Been wanting to buy one, but since CarsandCameras got them, like the Honda CT70s, they'll shoot up in price or at least it happens to appear that way.

It doesn't have a vehicle identification number because it's not a vehicle. The serial number isn't traceable (or not easily traceable) to anyone that bought it as surplus.

I saw the first C&C video about it and was intrigued, so I did some more research. The engine design is very, very industrial and doesn't have a lot of performance potential. The cylinder head design is similar to a 1950s Buick nailhead V8. Personally, I think they sound worse than a Volkswagen flat-four and are even less desirable.
