chopper chain

Last week I came home with a mini chopper.It has a 49cc motor on in I got it running.It was missing the chain every place around me has 25 or 35 chain they don't work.Does anyone know what size chain go's on this bike.thanks for any help.

Measure distance between teeth center to center. Take into account curvature of sprocket.
This is your chain pitch.

if its not 25 or 35 it may be 8mm. Have you tried that yet?

just take sproket to a bike shop.

edit: what i mean is you're guna have to go there to buy the chain anyway so just take it in and get them to do the hard work.

Check the sprockets for markings.

post a pic of the engine. if its a cag engine its probably 8mm. if its a cateye engine go to a bike store and get some 1/2 by 1/8" chain. also #41, #40, and #420 works on those.

Took the sproket with me and stop a 8 places around me with no luck.25 to small 35,40,41 to big.I just ordered the 8mm chain.I'll try that.Is there a difference in the 25 and the 25h chain?There is nothing on the motor but 49cc on the recoil.Is there a way to tell what kind of motor it is?

let see some pics of the motor, maybe we can visually Identify it. Also if u can get a new sprocket and change the size to something you can get and use.

measure the sprocket tooth distance and google it, for a sprocket chart.
