Hey everyone, on the back of the go cart there is a black box that covers the electrical wiring of this machine. Worked on the chain and was test driven without the black box on it, yep, wiring got caught in the chain and tore up several things! So now I am trying to put her back together and really just get her running. What I would like to have is a picture of how the wiring should be. If anyone has one and can pull that box and attach a picture or two here would be great. Of course the main issue is the 5 wires from switch are the ones that were cut up. Any help would be much appreciated.

Welcome to the forum!:D There are so many makes of Chinese karts, that nobody is going to know what part you are talking about. Take some pics of your kart and whatever got messed up, and then we can maybe help you out.

Here are two images that might help. The electric choke plugs into the voltage regulator, the wires from the stator or magneto plug into the CDI and the voltage regulator. One fused hot wire from the key switch goes in the power box on one side of the starter relay. The coil wire plugs into the CDI also. Reply if you need more help. I recently put a new swing arm wiring harness in a Carbide that was chopped out. I had to move the pins around in the bulkhead to match up the pins in the main wiring harness running to the front of the kart. The factory said I couldn't use the newer harness.

Follow the wiring schematic provided along with the CDI illustration provided. Looks like you have DC CDI. One heavy gauge red wire goes from one side of the starter relay to the battery, the other goes to the starter. The smaller red, fused wire also connects to the battery side of the starter relay. The blue wire with the white stripe goes from the trigger behind the flywheel to the CDI, the yellow and white wires from the stator go to the voltage regulator. The black wire with the yellow stripe comes from the coil and goes to the CDI, the black wire from the ignition switch goes to the CDI also. The auto choke plugs into the voltage regulator. You may have other harness wires for lights and other accessories that I wouldn't worry about right now.
