Chinese Dirtbike Project; Good deal?

Hey guys ive been looking around for a new project and i found this on craigslist. http://providence.craigslist.org/mcy/2400035439.html should i take it? I was thinking of either fixing it up, or taking the motor out and just using it for the frame and dropping a briggs or something in it. Kinda like what Bluethunder did but with his electric bike.

Any thoughts? Is it a good deal?

i would offer like 30-40.

IMO not a great looking bike. plus the engine is small so cant really use it for something else.

all i would use from it is like the forks and handle bars..... maybe brakes and throttle control.

ok thanks, yeah the guy is set on 50 bucks. I was hoping hed take a trade and some cash to get it lower but he said no. so im still on the lookout.

now that i think about it my dads friend said that he had an electric dirtbike that he needed to get rid of. there was something wrong with the motor. ill see if i can get in contact with him

Cool. Usually all the electic dirt bikes ive seen are razors, and their pretty easy to work with.

$50 is a fair price for that bike. It did not surprise me that he did not take less. To me it is priced to sale already.

Maybe not for you. But the right person needing parts would jump all over that pretty fast.
