Hey there. So I found this on craigslist for 150$. Might have been able to get it for a little less but failed miserably. I think I can salvage two of the tires one front one rear.

It has two horns, not sure if they work.:lolgoku:
Good rear axle. Dead axle I believe( turn one wheel and the other one turns with it?)
The sprocket is good not sure how big or small it is.
Brake rotor is good. There is two calipers and rotors in great shape on the front wheels as well.
The steering column is in great shape. Will need to upgrade the bushings.
Those are mainly the only things salvageable.

I will need a new engine with engine mount. Firemanjim has suggested a 125cc ATV engine. I'm considering that or something a little bit bigger. I have a decent amount open trails to really hit the gas.

I am going to have to redo the brake lines and whatever kind of hydraulic fluid thingy mahgig.

I will have to figure a way to run a lever to the shifter knob on my rigth hand side.

As far as a clutch goes i need to figure that out still.

Thats a start will keep you all informed and include some more pictures soon.

Thanks for stopping by.

Look on the bright side, Chinese parts are cheap!

I feel for you man, its going to be one long road. It brings the pangs that I have had when I bought a crossfire 150R for $60.... what I thought was an outstanding deal, but still.... brakes, tires, engine, its just going to be a TON of work and all that unfamiliar work is fun but sucks because it takes so much time to figure out. Thats something Ill be doing next YEAR ahhhh!

$60 great score!!!
I love the 150cc's
I am considering buying some turf saver tires for my 155cc Carbide. Because the last if the wooded area by my house is being developed and I can do some serious road riding in non knobby tires. Look forward to seeing your progress gentleman.
