Hello all, I am about to start my first kart build. On Friday I will be picking up the frame and engine. I'm hoping to build a shifter kart using a 90cc Yamaha dirt bike engine and transmission. 6hp and 3 gears I believe. What should I be prepared for? Any guesses as to how fast it will go?

How long is a piece of string?

There's a lot of factors involved but, set up correctly, you should be able to easily reach 40mph...
