Cheap Wheels for Live Axle setup

Hey all,

Going to start my build soon. Still looking into a few things. What are some good cheap wheels/tires to use for live axle setup? Also, what about the front ones? And to fix the drive sprocket to the axle can I weld it on? Not planning on buying a key shaft because they look expensive. Thanks

you can get a keyed shaft on BMIkarts.com for $20, or $25 for up to 45".

Currently waiting on my 45" shaft.

Never weld onto an axle, you will regret it later. Like napalm said, just buy the $20-$25 one on BMIkarts.com. For cheap tires, thats a hard thing to come by for a 1" axle, you can find 3/4 ones off lawnmowers, but i wouldnt advise a 3/4 axle. Front tires off lawnmowers would work for your front tires however.
