cheap fuel pump

after move my fuel off the of my gx160 and on to the floor pan. now i need a fuel pump are the cheap chinese one of ebay ok like this one.

if not which ones are ok i would like to spend under $20

It might work for you- but it sticks out the bottom of your tank... Most folks use an inline pump like this Mikuni-

Just wondering; how does that pump work? Something to do with vacuum? But where does the vacuum come from?

There are several locations from which you can take a vacuum signal. Intake manifold, rocker cover, block- you name it. And yes, those pumps work on vacuum pulses- that's why there's 3 ports- vacuum, fuel inlet, fuel outlet. The engine vacuum pulses drive a diaphragm inside the pump. The diaphragm pulses, drawing fuel in thru one 1-way valve, and pushing it out another.

Every engine creates vacuum pulses. These pulses are generated by the piston moving up and down in the cylinder. This results in positive (pressure) and negative (vacuum) pulses.
