Cheap 1" clutch

Hey guys, I just stumbled onto this on Aussie ebay

$65 AUD for a 1" clutch....seems pretty cheap to me

Figure it might be of use to some people, not really much description on it but if posting a clutch to the US is roughly the same price as the other way around it may actually be cheaper than what you guys pay over there

I just got one for £103, from OMB warehouse in America. It's rated upto 13hp and it has brilliant reviews as it's a Hilliard.

More than likely, that's a chinese clone but, Star Products have a pretty good reputation...

Is there much difference between the clone ones and a maxtorque or hilliard etc?

Like anything Chinese, it may or may not be any good but, I can almost guarantee, it won't be as good as the original...

IIRC, those clones are modelled off the maxtorque...

Yea ok that's fair enough. The more I think about it the more I think my clutch may be a clone. It's either a clone or a comet haha if I remember I'll have a look

Not that I can vouch for it's quality, it's only had about half an hour of use haha
