Chassis Identification?

Not sure where this thread goes, I'm sure it will be relocated accordingly.

So the engine being pretty much done, I'm curious what chassis it is on, certainly isn't the original enginge to it.
Definitely a bought not home built frame, general use sprinter style design. Someone added tire pusher brakes as a solution instead of replacing the brake band for the drum.

Only damages I see are one cracked weld on the right hand rail at the rear, and the seat runners are bent down a little (really fat kid? Really abusive riding?)

Definitely a one wheel wonderf#!k seeing as it's gone one wheel that handled braking and going originally. OE color is for sure red (what kart wasn't 80-00) but I don't see any signs of numbering to go on.

Reminds me a lot of the Kidi-Karts that TSC used to sell (some maybe still do) with a 3hp Tecumseh or B&S on them. Basic, minimal, probably a total blast for the target group.

NGL, I kinda just want to junk the project, and sell the engine because I have a use for the engine mounting plate and frame stock in pieces... I have two that could ride it in theory, but one more probably won't be interested and the other listens to directions like a brick wall, and is only about as sharp as a bowling ball so not worth the risks

Okay then thanks for nothing.
It doesn't matter now, I've started cutting it up

It appears to be a conglomeration of parts. Manco, Kenbar, Carter Bros., and home built parts.
So basically a Frankenkart put together from salvaged scraps. I did notice shat some welds were more "homebrew" than others... such as the upper surround rail which had Zero penatration and cracked free on one side. The entirety of the main deck is all factory style welding, but the pusher brake and steering was also cobbled.

I don't think I going to completely reduce it to scrap building materials because it is quite solid.
If I use it as a base platform, it wouldn't be too bad of a starting point build something that resembles a Sandrail buggy, swing arm rear end, full suspension, and maybe big lawnmower tires but definitely bigger tires and wheels for sure

No, not really. Now if they were a cast or forged wheel that may be different because only a few manufacturers used them. Manco and Rupp.
There's layers of paint, but the backside of the non drive wheel looks like it might be cast aluminum, front ones are definitely steel, tire bead lip is too thin to be anything else.

The rears aren't popped away from the bead, one front one is.
EDIT:

Nope all 4 steel

See if you can match up the frame with any of these. Thinking Denny could be right about some Manco mixed in there.

Idk, none of those would open.

At this point I have determined that overall the main chassis is/was all original works, based on the original paint being red, and the difference in welds.

it is more obvious the tire pusher brake and maybe the steering links are the only definite changes.

Even the kingpins are color and welds on them are matching to the original work without any scorching you'd expect from welding near paint... not even if there was red over red repainting done.

As for the brake... a 4" drum only on the drive wheel, I think it would be apt to send the kart into a spin with a novice driver.

There was a lot of scorching to the red paint where steel washers were added underneath to Cary the ½ steel pipe used to swing the brakes but a couple seemed original (maybe a crossover for dual drums?)
The return spring was only held to the frame under the seat with some wire... looked like maybe stainless
