Hi all,
We received a 30 volt Nimh battery pack to use on our electric cart build. We're new to all things electric so want to make sure we're charging this pack correctly.
Using a bench top power supply and a Nimh specific charge controller, we're going to set the volts on the bench top power supply to 30 v and at the moment will limit the amps to 1 amp. This will result in a slow charge which is fine, but wondered if there is a better way to determine a more specific rate of charge? I do not know the amp rating for the individual batteries nor the pack which is part of the confusion. Hope that makes sense.
