Chainsaw Bike

Hi,
I have been work for 3 days now on getting a chainsaw mounted on a mountain bike. (behind the seat) All I have left is to get the chain on. Which i am running staight down do the rear wheel. I hoping for at least 10 mph. Oh I forgot the chainsaw had a 12 inch bar on it and is call a homelite xl-2.

does the chain saw have a centrifugal clutch on it, if so you should leave the pedals on. the motor mite have a hard time getting of the mark.this is where you can use the pedals, but it will be good to cruise along with :cool:

Yes it does have a centrifugal clutch on it. That is what i was hoping i could do with the pedals.

for what type of clutch ? #35? And the bike chain fits it?

wow that is neat
how fast do you think it will go?
I thought about doing that with a weed eater engine and using a direc drive but i put it off while i am working on my go kart.:)

but what kind of clutch is it? #35? Or is this a clutch that came on the saw originally?

Yes, as I stated before it is the clutch originally on the saw. That is what i meant by the stock clutch.
