chain tension

How tight should a chain be cuz i just sheered my teeth clean off my clutch. It had no slack is that too tight?

You want a min of 1/4 of slack, and 3/8 is max IMO.

By "slack' do we mean push on it and it will move, or rattle?

chain was a lil tight not to bad
