chain problem

hey guys i have a problem the clutch i bought came with a chain and the i ordered a 52t sprocket after the chain fit the clutch but dosent fit on my sprocket is there any kind of chain i can buy that streches so it fits both or do i need a new sprocket

It sounds like you have a clutch that takes #40 chain and a sprocket that takes #35 chain, or vice versa.

so what do i do ????

Use this -----> http://www.gizmology.net/sprockets.htm
to determine which size (pitch) chain your clutch is made for, and buy a sprocket that is for the same pitch. #40 and #35 are the most common in karting, etc. these days, with #35 being smaller in appearance. Measure your chain and figure what you have.

KEEP IN MIND, when ordering your sprocket, a 52 tooth for #40 chain and a 52 tooth for a #35 chain will be drastically different in size and gear ratio.
