Just bought a Central Machinery 6.5hp engine - not being good mechanically, I am struggling to see how to add the throttle cable. Could someone help on this?

Thanks!

No - I am not making any modifications to the motor, don't know that much about it. I've got the engine mounted with clutch put on and chain added. I am trying to get the throttle cable to the engine and I just can't see it.

Thanks for the response.

Bad idea with a stock engine, if running a clone ungoved im pretty sure you need a billet rod and I would strongly recommend a better flywheel. If you have a tach adjust the gov to max at 5200 rpms, this is where it makes the most power stock, in the 8hp range IIRC.

where do you connect the throttle linkage to? or do you change the gov to the choke linkage?
