is this wiring correct? its a 150cc gy6 kandi buggy #1. bluewhite - stator #2. blackyellow - ignition coil positive #3.nothing/open #4.black - ground #5. kill switch- didn't have one #6.redwhite - power

Yes, except the Blue/white wire on your kart goes to the trigger pickup module, not the stator.

Wire colors vary from different brands of 150cc/GY6 powered karts, but this diagram shows what each terminal of your 6-wire CDI box does. So don't pay any attention to the wiring colors when using this diagram, you'd just go by the location of the wires in the CDI plugs

I see what you mean there is a bit of confusion there in the description...
If anything... I guess you could try and ground #3 and take it off if it doesnt work...
