No. the guy I got it from hit something and bent them. Haven't had chance to take off and take to work and straighten. Are those forks on backwards? Never seen the axle mounted behind the forks before on a minibike.
I get that.Cool just trying to look out for your safety. Not trying to be a jerk. We got to look out for each other.
I'll bet that's correct about the front axle trailing behind the forks as OEM. However, just as the forks being bent back a little increases the instability of the steering, so does that OEM configuration. I tilt at windmills and I like it. When you pull the forks off to straighten them, stop for a second. Swap the controls left/right and mount the forks with the axle leading. You may find that the longer wheelbase afforded by the leading axle coupled with the resulting forward extension of the bent forks may make the thing much more stable than OEM.But yeah the mounts are correct.
I might give that a try. I'll have to see if the stops will work reversed haven't looked that close.I'll bet that's correct about the front axle trailing behind the forks as OEM. They do look like something is off. The fork assembly can't be on backwards, because they wouldn't clear the steering head. And being a welded 1 piece unit, the sides can't be swapped. The handlebars/grips are pointed in the right direction, too. So it looks like the axle mount plates are welded on the wrong side of the tubes. Are those forks on backwards? This. The forks are correct. It's just the way they are on
that model mini bike.
The Doodle Bug Baja db30, forks are the same also.
Correct,This.
They are only bent backwards.
