Well my link did not work as I did not notice what the title said and the censors here put astrics over it and rendered the link useless.

Basically he used gasket remover and the powder coat came off within 20 minutes.

Not too sure what you are on about there, and the only time the software puts asterisk on anything is if it is a swear word

It's getting there slowly but surely

A couple more days and I will feel like in accomplishing something. Finally got a system that works great. Add the stripper wait about 15 minutes and hit it with a coarse wire wheel. Paint comes off with no trouble at all.

For the most part stripper compound is Lye. Nothing really beats it, well except something xylene or some other harsh solvent/acids.

And a little more...... If I could get a couple of hours of free time it will be done. Working 2 jobs doesn't leave much time to do much of anything sometimes.

Whole frame and take it to place around the corner to have him sand blast the tight spots. Saved myself about 100 dollars doing it this way.

It's getting there!!

Few more small areas and I'll be ready for final cleanup. Then on to primer and paint. Was going to powder coat bit wife said unless I can do it myself then I can't do it. When she heard how much it was going to cost that went out the door real quick. :2guns:

There can be real advantages to a rattle can paint job; use a stock color, and you have a steady supply of touch up paint. And if you are determined to have an "UBER COOL" finish, the cost of repainting/ touch up is much lower than a custom job...

Are those the wheel spacers for the rear in the left of your pic? They are huge. Wouldn't have expected them to be that big.

They are the rear hubs. Everything on this thing are big. I personally think they could have went with parts that weren't so heavy when designing it. But it is a very well built machine

Frame is finally done!

After almost 3 weeks of prep it's finally done and turned out better than I imagined.
