Carter Front Suspension

Greetings,

I recently purchased a pair of Carter model 2906 karts. Both had broken front "I-Arms". I assumed when I bought them I'd be able to find these parts fairly easily on the internet. I was mistaken. Apparently when they went out of business no one picked up on these in the aftermarket. Anyone out there familiar with these karts and know of a way to replace these? Thanks.

Best bet is to weld or have them welded, It's very unlikely that you'll find any online. And could you define "broken"? Cracked, snapped or bent? Pics are good too.

I'll take some pics today and toss them up here. But in short, broken. I assumed getting some welding done was in the cards. Just thought if anyone on here had dealt with this before, they might have a different path. Thanks!

Where you see threads, that's what is broken. You can see that they just welded a bolt to the tube. I am just going to have someone weld new bolts to the tubes. Eventually I'd like to replace this setup though with something that isn't prone to the breakage.
