Heyo. Long time no see! Some of y’all might remember me. A lot has happened since I last posted here. Graduated college, got married, sold off all my go-Kart stuff, etc. Now that I’m settled down, I found this for $50. Needs work obviously. I’m just curious who’s done engine swaps on these before? I want to say it’s a Carter Talon 150?

Funny, I just saw an ad for this exact kart that is setup for a Predator. It basically said they had flipped the sprocket and installed a new mounting plate.

No kidding? You happen to have a pic of it? By flipping the sprocket, do you mean the whole axle itself or just move the sprocket to the other side?

Looks like they did a 180 with the entire axle. That’s a possibility though. I’d have to set up a jackshaft and rebuild the brake setup. That helps, thanks!

No idea if it really works like that, so measure carefully. I don't see where he expects to mount the engine, but then again I've never seen a Talon in person.
