Hey guys!

I have been browsing the website for a few days and have learned and refreshed my mind on how great go-karts are.

I remembered when I was a kid seeing a Carter Brothers Bigfoot monster truck and instantly fell in love with it.

If I could find one to purchase that would be great but if anyone has any large pictures of these old trucks or any detailed information on them. I would greatly appreciate it.

If i cant find one too buy I will build my own!

Thank you

Matthew

I've ran across a few complete monster-truck karts and some used bodies for sale on my local craigslist but I don't remember any being the late-70's/early-80's Ford body style of the origanal Bigfoots.

This place sells new truck bodies for karts but their prices are really high: http://www.fiberglassgokartbodies.com/products.html

This search link shows several places that sell complete karts with truck bodies. I'd imagine most any of them would sell you just the body but you'd probably have to contact them to find out what styles are available:
http://www.google.com/search?source...rlz=1T4DMUS_enUS221US222&q=go+kart+truck+body

If you haven't already, you might search through this link too:
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&...isions_inline&resnum=0&ct=broad-revision&cd=4

Good luck with your prodject and let us know how it turns out.

Thanks anderkart and mike75925. I think google is probably going to ban me because I think I tried every search that I could think of using "monster truck go kart, mini monster truck, etc etc etc. lol

porsche930dude that truck is exactly like the one I seen only it was done up to look like big foot.

Mike any chance you could get the dimensions off that frame for me? And a few pictures of it as well.

Thanks guys! Appreciate it!

we have 2 mini monster trucks

My Dad and husband are shriners and they have 2 Carter Brothers Bigfoot mini monster trucks. They have the 5 HP Briggs & Stratton engines w/electric start. They are white bodied.

If interested, feel free to give us a call or drop an e-mail.

Yes, we are selling them. See, my Dad died last spring and my husband wants to sell the set and possibly start a new unit in the shrine. These 'toys' were only used for parades. They are loaded with extra horns. They were ordered through Honda of Chanute in the late '90s. Dad had the best one at $2400. Allen's white one was bought in the mid '90s so he's asking $1400 for his.

I have LOTS of photos if you're interested.

thanks,

To bring back an old thread... I have one for sale also. I was going to build it up nicely but have lost interest and time... I have $750 in it. It has a new 6.5 clone, and everything in the rear, axle, bearings, sprockets, clutch, ect is new. It also has 4 new 18 inch ITP hole shot tires. It is painted black and needs some freash paint or a wax job but a nice cart. Email me if you want more info. j.ray1 (at) verizon (dot) net

They arn't closed. We got a dealer newsletter on Friday with a letter stating that their first goal is to rebuild their stock of parts before they can begin production of karts in America again. It is a big shame this happened as they were just tooling up to run karts once more in our fine nation. I was really looking forward to see a company making karts here again.

Do you happen to be a Carter dealer who got a different letter than we did? Please feel free to PM me if there was something I misunderstood so I can tell customers otherwise.

Everything I see on their website says that they are hurting from the fire and attempting to rebuild now but can't tell how long that will take.

If you're looking for decals go to ebay and see what they have there, also there are dozens of online retailers which sell decals and stickers. You may just want something grave digger themed which would still be around.
