Carter Bros old and used

Hi there everyone. i just purchased this old used carter frame. I need some help with figuring out what motor to mount. It kinda looks like a funky setup. Im posting some pics below let me know what you think. Please, I really appreciate it.

I believe that had a gy6 150cc engine originally. As it sits, I'd put a dirt bike or atv engine in it. I'd go up as high as 200cc (Honda 4stroke from atc) you won't need more than that to have "edge of your seat" excitement. Any more than that, and you will have to start beefing up your chassis.... And brakes......

i found this engine. do you think that it would line up with the engine mounts on my kart? Also someone said its not a carter its a chinese model. but i do have a serial number. It is LLCBCKLC745000211

i pulled out the tape measure, wrote down the measurements of the rear end. unbolted the rear end. am going to cut off the old mount and make room for the harbour freight 212cc predator engine. pictures incoming soon.

The 212 won't pull you around like you think.. It's justnot big enough. With q torque converter, you will have a top speed around 15mph, because you are gonna have to gear it to pull all that weight around.....
Stick with an atv engine.... 200cc atv engine is not the same as 200cc industrial engine...... (go kart engine)
