Just got this old carter bros go kart to fix for a mate,and was wondering does anyone know how the throttle is set up -

i can't find anything on it not even a pic,and if you go on carter bros site there is nothing either its all new stuff ,this thing looks pretty old ,its like a big plastic body bolted to a metal frame with a little tecumseh 49cc engine,there is no chain to make it go its like a shaft driven thing ,its got an axle on it and it comes up and the engine clutch bolts on to it ,this spins a wheel witch in turn makes the wheel drive ,something like a srimmer .
need to know how the throttle works it has 2 things when foot is on pedal it releases some kind of brake system but i cant see how a throttle cable would hook up to it. thanks trying to get pics up but cam acting a %&$#:
