I recently bought a manco dingo of a buddy for 50$ first cart I've owed.ive built alot of gas powered bikes so I'm familiar with mechanics somewhat.i got a simpson I'm guessing 6hp motor on it can't find and numbers other then the simson decal on the pull cord housing..anyways watched a YouTube video and installed the throttle cable seems to work ok but as soon as I start it it hauls *** and there was no time to even jump on it..any help would be great I've been researching this for 3hrs now and have been messing with it for weeks..idk if because I took the govener off like my buddy suggest created the problem or not..anyways I can upload picks if need be

Maybe try turning the idle down 
or maybe the throttle cable is out of adjustment & not letting it return all of the way to idle

Or maybe the throttle is hooked up backwards. We have seen that a few times also. How about some pictures of the carb linkage and engine from all angles. And how you removed the governor.
