Carburetor question

I recently bought an old manco critter that has a 212 ghost motor on it it had a nibbi carb on it also. I haven't been able to ride it yet due to the rear 1wp axle Is bent to crap. And I'm trying to replace it, or make it a live axle. So are the nibbi carbs good? The ones I found are like 150- 160 on the internet. Idk anything else about it besides that and it cranks on first pull and sounds good. I bought it from govdeals.com for 200, not knowing whether it ran or not. Also. For the 212. What would be a good setup for good acceleration and top speed. Like axle, sprockets, clutch/ torque converter etc? Any advice would be awesome????

Go Power Sports ( in Texas ) sells everything you need. Axle kits, bearings, torque converters. Look around their site a bit. If you have even a little bit of mechanical aptitude a lot of this stuff is pretty easy to figure out. A live axle with a 60 tooth sprocket, driven by a 30 series torque converter with a 10 tooth sprocket will give you a solid, fast, and versatile drive train. Don't know anything about your particular carburetor, but if it sounds like it's running good, it probably is. Also welcome to the forum.

Just now saw your other thread. You will have to move the engine more to the center of the kart. When you get your axle ( 44" will be fine ) you will buy a hub to mount the sprocket onto. This will slide onto the axle, being adjustable to line up to the engine and torque converter. Get all your parts and mock everything up prior to welding in a new engine mount plate.
