Carburetor Problems!!

Goes to the vent on the gas tank. Should be longer than 2 inches, it was probably cut off to get the air cleaner off

Should be a tube to the top of the gas tank.

OK, well this certainly isn't the stock gas tank! The cap says to mix the gas and oil! Should I get a longer tube and make it attach to the tank?

I would plug it off. There is a check valve in the tank for that line to prevent the carb from sucking fuel in through the vent.

My linkage wasn't exactly the same as DeathMachine's. I went the easier route and bought a Predator engine from Harbor Freight. Need to unpack it and break it in and then will post my progress!

So through the red and into the green?

And also slightly loosen the lock nut below the green circle in the diagram so that the arm moves freely.

Saw someone replace a friction washer with a thin metal washer to allow for easier throttle control. Will do that - Thanks!
