My mikuni on my subaru ex17 is throwing fits. I've cleaned carb several times and managed to get cart to idle perfect. Last night I got several spectacular runs in with huge power and torque. Ran for maybe an hour and a half. Today troublesome starts:mad2:
Made my own gas tank so rust in tank is no longer an issue, also installed inline filter. Than I got to thinking that before last couple of runs I made a carb filter out of cereal box:)wai:search button thanks guys). When I checked it today it was basically soft and no good. Would this cause my start troubles? Where can I get a gasket from as well?

Did you put a little bit of oil or grease on the cereal box gasket before you fitted it. This stops it from getting all mushy from the gas
