Hi everyone. This is my first time here.
I bought this go cart for my daughter and it was used. I've been fixing it up (tires, light bar, etc).

I noticed the front right (and rear right) wheel bearings were bad. After a fun run through the woods last night the wheel came off completely. I need to replace the hub I assume? Can you tell me where?

Here is the hub that has failed.

Here is that $50 Amazon light bar I welded onto the frame (welded the bracket). It is great. Thanks!

I also intend to pull off the front suspension, clean, paint, replace that zerk and lube it.

For my own documentation, I've measured the bearing, shaft and hub.

The shaft appears to be 5/8ths.

Wheel hub opening appears to be 1 13/16ths

As assumed, the bearing outer diameter appears to be 1 13/16ths

Welcome!

Well that's a Manco 7150 if I'm not mistaking
And with that a hub is easy to find..
it's part number is 14148.. just google "Manco 14148" to find some

here for example:
https://www.gokartsupply.com/wlassy.htm

it's the same on the 6150 kart btw..

but are you sure the hub failed?
to me it looks like the bearings did?
so buy new bearings first (it's 6204-Z for the inner and 6202-Z for the outer)
and if those are in there tight you'll be good.
you'll need them for the new hub anyways.

If the hub is indeed cracked you know where to buy one but chances are you won't need one ;)

Wow! Thanks guys! That manual really helped. I found some bushings that were needed for that upper A-arm too. There was only one bearing on that wheel so I think I know the problem...

I ordered 2 of each. I assume the other side will fail next.

One of the rear wheels can move back and forth so I think something is going on there too.
Either way, I now know what to get.
Thank you again.

After buying ~20 different bearings on 2 different orders I discovered that I have mismatched, not stock hubs on this used buggy. I'm just going to buy 2 new full hubs and go from there. Once I sat them side by side I see that one had different internal bearing sizes. That's why the wheel came off and the other was wearing weird. It was dangerous. One had metal scored inside.

I plan on having fun with this so I'll just do this right.
