There's no information here that will get you as worthwhile answer from anyone. You need to list what type of engine it is, if it's 2 stroke or 4 stroke, when it started happening, maybe a picture or two, etc.

Sounds like a mis timed cam or dodgy valves. I have never worked on a gy6 so I cannot help further.

IMO it sounds like either cam timing is off or the intake valve is not seated correctly, it could be stuck open. Has the engine ever ran with you? If so, what, if anything, have you changed since?
Doing a little googling- that head/cam setup on the gy6 looks strong! Proper automotive style shaft style rockers.

ok so is it possable to swap in a 200cc honda atc engine and how hard would it be? I just had a running 3 wheeler offered to me for 100. the buggy is a spiderbox.

Of course it's possible- but are your skills and tools up to the task? No insult intended (honest), but if you have to ask, this may be aiming a little too high.

Ok what i mean is how much of a pain would it be? I was raised in a junk yard I could put a 454 in a Honda if I was so inclined but it would be a huge pain and on insult may have been intended but that's what came out.....choose your words

well if you got a welder and some spare steel laying around for fabbing up mounts and a gear shifter shouldn't be a problem.
the only tricky part id say is the mounts and shifter. but you'll lover the performance upgrade.

Words were chosen carefully. Hence the "no insult intended". You see, the problem is, we have a bunch of young teens on here- and for all their aspirations, they have no experience. This is not a bad thing, it just means we're used to people with zero experience asking how to do things. Putting an ATC engine in a go kart is NOT a bolt-on affair. If you are prepared to fabricate your own engine mounts, shift linkage, clutch, wiring, adapting chain types, calculating your new gear ratios, etc- then great! But since YOU know what you can do, and I DO NOT- whaddya want me to say? I said "If your tools and skills are up to it". Are they? If you are capable of halfway competent fabrication, you'll be fine. You could be a junior SAE genius in training, or you could have a tough time figuring out which way 'round you're supposed to put those little batteries in your TV remote.
So let this be said (again). No insult intended. If you were insulted, you're perhaps a bit too sensitive. Sorry.

First off Im not some young teen Im a grown *** man. And second if you have to use the words "no insult intended" then what you are saying is I do mean to insult you. Now that we have that settled I do have the fab skills and maybe the word possible was the incorrect one pain is better suited. So now If your done trying "not to insult me" maybe you could start helping seeing as I thought that is what this forum was for and maybe your not the person who should be speaking up on this matter seeing as the pic you have up is of a stock store bought doodle bug no insult intended.
If you are a grown a$$ man that could put a 454 in a Honda and lived in a junkyard your whole life one of the first things you would probably know is how a carburetor functions. Or at least that its supposed to suck instead of blow.
Myself i think most carburetors both suck and blow... i much prefer a basic fuel injection system when available.

If you're such a "grown a$$ man," why don't you go ahead and figure it all out, and then learn how to upload attachments on this simple-to-use bulletin board so we can all see? Seriously, this is a great forum which has taught me and many others a huge amount of info and you and your 8 word threads don't contribute sh1t. For anyone else I may have offended, I'm sorry. Toystory is someone who taught me plenty, and I'd be a jerk if I didn't back him up. Just because you're insecure/confused when it comes to dismantling engines does not constitute consent for you to come on here and b1tch about your old a$$ carburetor.

I would say toystory chooses his words more carefully than most. He seems to take time and effort in his posts, they are easy to read and there's hardly ever a grammar or spelling error. So be grateful.
Sorry. You won't see me trying to help again, it is obviously not appreciated, I will go somewhere else where people appreciate my help, even if it is minimal. We don't get paid you know. Oh and you were brought up in a junkyard- c'mon 'grown man' you should be able to figure your question out. I am 16, and have only a few years of mechanical knowledge. I could figure that one out.
And the comment about toystory's doodlebug- Just wow! He has young kids and he would like to keep them safe.
