uhm.. in fact yes you can;
but you need a frickin' huge motorbike to do so.

since even a smaller car gearbox is about the size of a motorbike's 4cylinder engine
(that already include it's 5/6spd gearbox btw)
Plus the engine needs to match the transmission.. so most likely the car's engine that was attached to said gearbox.
and the bike will grow.....

let's be honest: that's not exactly a bright idea to try.

it's possible, it's been done (huge big block v8 trikes and choppers are out there)
but not something you should think about if you don't know what you're up to,
to say the least ;)

learn to use a clutch!

No honestly, yes there have been clutchless sevenspeed transmissions on racebikes for maybe two or three years. (pneumatic shifters)
very expensive and not too reliable.

there are full auto (CVT) gearboxes on scooters , haven't seen one on a 'real' motorbike

So in the end: learn to use a clutch!

I'm sorry, that might sound rude, but if there is such a thing, then it'll be extremely expensive to get hold of it... but personally I doubt there is at all.
because there is no market for such bullsshirt.
(yes bulls shirt.. ever seen a bull in a shirt.. because there is no such thing;))

automatic transmissions are for old women and veterans that lost an arm;
semi auto for old men and veterans that lost a leg...
none of those should ride a motorbike IYAM :D

Haha but I know how to. Use a clutch I was just thinking it would be easyer on my go kart having 3 pedals and no shifter (using pedal a a shifter) than 3 pedals and a shifter but I will probably stick with a plain old diy clutch and shifter but cheers any way

on a kart... much more room in there to play with.

but on shifter karts the clutch is lever actuated (lever is on the steering wheel)
but you could get a clutch pedal in there of course...
I'm not sure it's a good idea though depending on the kart we're talking about it might be pretty narrow on the front end and you wouldn't want to interfere the brake pedal with a clutch.. much less shift down if you actually intended to hit the brake!

Felinman currently builds a tank (contest section)...
IIRC he uses a small sized VW engine with it's gearbox (also small in size)
that might fit a mid sized buggy as well, and I believe the Jetta was available with a semi auto transmission a few years ago.
(I might be wrong, but I think there was such thing)

I dont know about a semi-auto, but a "full auto", Hondamatic CB750A might be something your looking for. Has a high/low/N settings.

or you do what I recomended the guy with the mini car build do and ditch the bike trans and have an input shaft machined for the engine with a flywheel adapter then using the car flywheel and torque converter bolt up the trans to the engine

You must account for the fact that automotive trannies are really really heavy. Variable gearing is nice, 300lbs of extra weight is not.

Ok cheers and I was thinking of putting some pvc over the rear wheels and making it drift any easy way of doing that
