can't remove driven pulley

I have a yerf dog and I cannot get the back plate of the driven pulley off of the jack shaft..any advice?

PB blaster penetrating lubricant for starters. Can get any any auto parts store or Home Depot. Some people would thread on nut till its flush with end of Jackshaft, then tap out with a hammer.

Like Poboy...especially if he could get someone to grab both sides to apply even pressure.

Does it just slide off of the shaft or is it threaded on . I have been using pb blaster already .

It just slides on....(but apparently not off...) It's just rusted on...sometimes it takes several days and a little luck.

Try to spray from both sides , too.

I vouch for pb also, did you read instructions?

Thanks yall . I have some old air cooled VW's so I know about pb blaster . I mostly did not know if it slid on and off or was threaded on .

But....have you tried WD-40 Secialist penetrating oil???? (Not to be confused with regular WD-40.)

Better than PB...IMO...

No , but I will get some when I run out of pb blaster . which should be in a day or two because of this go kart that I bought "cheap" .

Use heat. A lot of heat. And beeswax.

50/50 mix of ATF and Acetone. Better than anything out there.

You have to shake the mix vigourously as it will separate, but works better than anything else I have used.
