can you identify this kart?

Its selling for $80 on Craigslist. just wondering what kind of go kart it is and if its worth it. i might haggle and ask $50

Its a Yerf-Dog they made slightly before they went bankrupt in 2004, most likely 2003 model. This thing is Chinese and has something around a 125cc kickstart engine. 8" rear, 7" front wheels, all metric. Not too many of these floating around and I've never seen one running before, heh.

do you know if this certain model has suspension? because that's something I'm looking for. Do you think I'll be able to fix it up, I mean find parts for it? its not like i have to find the same brand parts for it, i can just slap anything onto it? I'm new, as you can tell...

These had front suspension, a weak splined axle, metric bearings, ball joints like the other Chinese dogs, and whatever else you can expect to see from a Chinese kart. There are parts out there but you'll be modifying things to make them work.

I seen that in my local CL as well. I have a Yerf dog two seater I will sale you? complete but no motor or clutch.

Front suspension only. Nice seat, nice tires. Beefed up frame. New tie rods and front tires. Pretty good paint.

It is set up for clone with duel tanks. You can have one of the tanks. So if you bought another clone you would have both tanks like in the pics. The frame has had gussets added to beef it up.

$200 with new tires. I also added some nylon washers to make the front tighter. If you looking for a project you may want to check it out. Clean with no rust.

I am building a single seater with the motor. Want to off this frame.

The torque converter missing from that kart will cost right around 200 dollars or more to replace, its a hard sell knowing in addition to the motor which is over 100 you've got to add 200 and for that price you're getting Chinese clutches.

Mario, you are not correct. If you think you have a Manco then think again. If you really have a Manco and are saying what was posted in this thread was one then you are having a bit of trouble differentiating kart designs.

If you can post a picture of your kart I'll be happy to tell show you how we tell the difference.
