Can you change the driver and driven on a chinese tav 2 to make it a 40 series?

I am using a stock predator 212 to start out on my kart build. I will most likely upgrade it later and would like to reuse what I can if I can.
I don't see a previous post on this. I did look but my wife says that I am blind especially to things she has cleverly hidden in plain sight.

the center to center distance is too short to fit series 40 pulleys;
they'd touch in the middle (if not overlap )

Also, no matter if stamped or cast, that backplate would not hold the torque of a much bigger motorpower than it was made for..

So if you want to make your parts reusable.
buy a series 30 TC but NOT THE TAV KIT!
Instead install a jackshaft and use that for your series 30;
then installing a bigger engine and a series40 is not a big deal at all.
